The brand was established in 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and has now grown to almost 85 locations domestically, and internationally. The concept has been recognized as one of the hottest emerging QSR brands by leading industry publications, including Technomics, QSR Magazine, and Restaurant Business.
Tom Gordon and Greg Smart, Co-Founders
Tom Gordon and Greg Smart founded Slim Chickens in 2003. By 2019, Slim Chickens had grown to 80 locations domestically and internationally. In 2019, Tom and Greg brought on 10 Point Capital as minority partners to help them accelerate growth and build a nationally dominant brand.
Tom and Greg remain active leaders in Slim Chickens as Board members and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Brand Officer respectively.
